7 Step Clerical Screening Process

As part of our Total Quality Management Program, we have developed a seven step screening process. This "7 Step Screening Process" has been recognized by both our clients and competition as the "industry model" when it comes to hiring efficiency.

In starting this process each clerical applicant is initially interviewed via Phone Screening for general job skill requirements.

Selected applicants will then be invited to our office for a thorough In-House Screening, Application and Interview process encompassing a complete work history, skills assessment, and anticipated level of personal commitment. Successful YES employees exhibit efficiency, flexibility, professionalism and the ability to work independently.

Once we have accurately assessed each individual's qualifications and capabilities, we then conduct complete Reference Checks to assist in determining if each applicant meets the high standards set by YES.

Applicant skills are then measured by test results from our Skill Testing Program. This innovative program provides extensive testing and training on every major word processing and spreadsheet system in today's office environment. We take special care to ensure that our testing is challenging, comprehensive and fair. As our client, you are assured that our employees can start working the moment they arrive in your office.

After an applicant is accepted, each individual is instructed on our Safety Rules and Procedures. This personal instruction time has been proven to be essential in reducing work related injuries while increasing our employees' productivity rate for our clients.

Our last and most important step is to Orientate each qualified employee regarding his/her expected job performance. Much preparation time is spent discussing the most important characteristics of successful employees - punctuality, attention to detail, a superior work ethic, and a special emphasis on the importance of a winning customer service attitude.
