YES Employee Spotlight | June 2023

Utah’s Best Staffing Professionals Work at Your Employment Solutions!

This month’s Employee Spotlight is an outstanding member of the YES Utah County team – Jessica Espinosa!

Thank You Jessica Espinosa | YES June 2023 Spotlight

Jessica is one of our account managers in our Pleasant Grove staffing office. She has been with YES a little over a year and has provided our Utah County employment team with some amazing support. She regularly gives valuable perspective to all our recruiting teams and is a great team player in supporting our other staffing offices when she can.

We asked Jessica to answer 11 questions about work and life. Here’s what she had to say:

1. Five things you enjoy.

  • Working out
  • Family time
  • Traveling
  • Esthetics
  • The beach

2. Three things you don’t.

  • Staying home all day
  • Waking up past 8 AM on the weekends
  • Hiking

3. What do you like most about working at YES?
I love the company culture at YES. They care about their employees. 😊

4. What do you think would make YES better?
Help to hire higher end positions or have more options for call centers, receptionist, and clerical.

5. If you could meet anyone, who?
Not sure.

6. Your favorite place in the world.
Hawaii.

7. We have heard you love to travel. What has been the wackiest experience you’ve had during your travels and what do you feel like you learned from it?
Not planning ahead of time. Especially if you’re going to a tourist destination, make sure to book every activity you want to do in advance.

8. What is the number one challenge you face in your job?
When Spanish speaking candidates fill out an application with Kenny they want to come talk to me after they’ve been helped by him.

9. What do you think is the best way to meet that challenge?
Assuring the candidate that Kenny can help them as much as I can help them, we communicate and we both can reach out for any reason.

10. What would you tell someone looking into working with YES?
YES is a great company to work for. Like I previously said, they care about their employees. Company culture is great!

11. Tacos. Tacos are life. If you were competing in a taco making contest against CEO Reed Laws and President Kerry Westenskow who do you think would win? What special ingredient would you put in yours to turn the competition?
I would win of course! Kerry and Reed are always on their diets and I doubt they would cook tacos heheh.  Not sure if they would beat me at making tacos, I would probably add some spicy seasoning and make sure the tacos are juicy.

Thank you Jess for all you do to help our YES teams!
